This policy explains how AxsuR (“we”) handles personal data collected through www.axsur.com and the AxsuR Country Risk Portal. AxsuR is the controller of that data.
What we collect
- Enquiries. When you use the contact form we collect your name, organisation, email address, phone number if you give one, the service you are asking about and your message.
- Portal accounts. When you register for the Country Risk Portal we collect your name, work email address, organisation and job title, and we store a protected (hashed) version of your password. We also record your account status, the countries you add to your watchlist and the country profiles you viewed most recently.
- Technical data. Our web server records standard log information such as IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use IP addresses briefly to limit repeated failed sign-ins and form submissions.
Why we use it
- To reply to your enquiry and provide the services you ask for.
- To verify, approve and administer portal accounts, and to keep the portal secure.
- To protect the website against misuse.
- To meet legal obligations.
We rely on your consent for enquiries, on steps taken at your request and our contract with you for portal accounts, and on our legitimate interest in keeping the website secure.
Cookies
This website uses only the cookies needed for it to work, for example to keep you signed in to the Country Risk Portal. We do not use advertising cookies. If we add analytics in future we will update this policy and ask for consent where the law requires it.
Who we share it with
We do not sell personal data. We share it only with service providers that host our website and email on our behalf, and with authorities where the law requires. Our hosting provider may process data outside your country; where it does, we rely on the safeguards the provider has put in place for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- Enquiries: for as long as needed to deal with your request and for our business records, normally no longer than 24 months.
- Portal accounts: for as long as the account is open. You can ask us to close your account and delete your data at any time.
Security
We protect the website with encrypted connections (HTTPS), access controls, sign-in rate limits and restricted administrator access. No internet service can be guaranteed completely secure, but we work to protect your data and review our safeguards regularly.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to see the personal data we hold about you, to have it corrected or deleted, to restrict or object to how we use it, to receive a copy in a portable format, and to withdraw consent. Portal members can update their details and request an export or deletion of their data from the My Account page. To exercise any right, write to info@axsur.com. You may also complain to the data protection authority where you live.
