Who we are
AxsuR Risk Advisory is an independent risk advisory firm based in Dubai. We support organisations that operate, travel and invest across the Middle East and selected African markets, where security, political, regulatory and operational risks need to be understood early and managed well.
Our clients include multinational corporations, international contractors, engineering and infrastructure companies, corporate security departments, and risk and travel managers. What they have in common is a need for clear judgement and practical advice from people who know the region.
Our approach
We work in a way that is simple to describe and demanding to do well.
- Senior-led. The person who scopes your work is the person who leads it and stands behind the conclusions.
- Decision-focused. We write for the people who have to act. Every assessment ends with prioritised, practical recommendations.
- Evidence first. We state our sources, separate fact from judgement, and say plainly when something could not be verified.
- Proportionate. Advice is matched to the actual level of risk. We do not recommend measures an operation does not need.
- Independent. Our conclusions are our own. We advise in the client’s interest, including when the answer is that no further measures are needed.
Our experience
AxsuR was founded by practitioners with long careers in security, risk management and compliance in the Middle East and other complex operating environments, in both corporate and international settings. That background shapes how we work: we have been responsible for people, sites and decisions ourselves, and we advise with that responsibility in mind.
Our experience covers risk assessment for market entry and major projects, corporate security management, travel risk, due diligence, crisis planning and training for teams at every level of an organisation. We combine strategic analysis with assessment on the ground: reading the environment, then checking it in person.
Recent work includes a field security risk assessment for a multi-year industrial project in western Libya, evacuation planning and crisis management support for clients in the GCC, and security support to international companies working in Egypt and the Levant. We work on the ground with vetted local partners and say clearly which findings we verified ourselves.
Geographic focus
We concentrate on the regions we know best: the GCC, the Levant and Iraq, North Africa and East Africa. A regional focus means our advice reflects local context, regulation and practice instead of a generic global template.
