Organisations have a duty of care to the people they send to work in other countries. Meeting it takes more than booking flights and sharing a general advisory: travellers need to know what to expect at the destination, what to do if plans change, and who to contact.

AxsuR helps organisations assess travel risk before a trip is approved, plan movements sensibly, and prepare travellers properly. Our advice is specific to the destination, the itinerary and the traveller, and it is proportionate to the risk.

Questions clients ask

Can AxsuR support us if conditions deteriorate while our people are in country?

Yes, where this has been arranged in advance. For deployments to higher-risk locations we plan relocation and evacuation routes, means and decision triggers with vetted local partners before anyone travels, and we support the client’s team if those plans have to be used. The arrangements are set out in each engagement. This website and its contact form are not an emergency channel.

What is ISO 31030?

ISO 31030:2021 is an international guidance standard on travel risk management for organisations. It is not a certification scheme. It describes how to build a travel risk policy, assess and treat risks, and review the programme. We can review your arrangements against it.

Can you assess a single trip at short notice?

Often, yes. Tell us the destination, dates, itinerary and the purpose of travel and we will confirm what can be delivered in the time available before you commit.

How does this relate to the Country Risk Portal?

The Country Risk Portal gives approved members country profiles with risk ratings, travel advice and emergency contacts. A travel risk assessment goes further: it is written for a specific trip, traveller and itinerary.
